04-23-18 Nearly Ice-Out on Lake Winnisquam. The first day of open water since last Fall!! We’re heading up the lake Tuesday to checkout the situation.

My guess is with 70F forecasted Tuesday, 04-24-18, my guess is Lake Winnisquam Ice-Out will be today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay tuned. We’re heading to the Loon Sanctuary to see if we can travel through the channel !!

Not bad!! Hoping Mr. Wind stays in town for some more action…
04-15-18 MAJOR CHINKS in the ice on Lake Winnisquam last night !!!! The area by where the Winnipesaukee River flow into Winnisquam is WIDE open overnight.

AND now there are random open spots around the lake!! Including right in front of Ed’s Camp. It is now the beginning of the end… OR the beginning of the beginning ???
03-14-18 The Lake Winnisquam ice is moving !!! Cracks and a couple open spots are visible !! It’s real black again !!

BUT- Sunday we’re going to see cold temps and freezing rain- Darn…
04-04-18 In one day a lot has happened on the Winnisquam !! The ice really turned black today.

Lots happening- melting, evaporating, shifting, cracking… A whole bunch going on !!!

03-27-18 The boys crank out 212.7 miles today up north. Some really good snow, and it was one of our best rides of this season !!

But Boo-Hoo. The snowmobiling season may be coming to an end. And it was just getting good…Â Ryan, Max, Mark and Ed had a blast. Now back to assisting our valued boating customers till it’s our turn again next winter…
02-23-18 Fiber Optic Cable- Fairpoint runs our fiber optic cable in to the Ship’s Store. YAY !!! We’ll have an awesome network between our three locations !!!!

And a state of the art phone system too. Personal voice mailboxes, transfer calls, mobile transfer calls, seamless integration between the locations. All the stuff you dream of…

But don’t worry, we’re sure Spring will be springing very soon. The crew at Winnisquam Marine is already getting set for the rush in late April and May !!!!
