Boating & Weather Report: May 15th to May 21st – Prepare for a Mix of Conditions!

Welcome to our weekly Boating & Weather Report! We’ve got all the latest updates to help you plan your boating adventures on Lake Winnisquam and Lake Winnipesaukee. Let’s dive right in:

Weather Outlook: This week, we can expect a mix of conditions. While it may be a little breezy, the sun will still make appearances, although slightly less than last week. On Wednesday, it’ll be cooler with a high of 54, but don’t worry—Thursday will bring a nice recovery with plenty of sunshine and a high of 70. As we head into the weekend, Saturday will be partly cloudy with a high of 76. Keep in mind that there’s a chance of a shower on Sunday, but let’s hope not it’s a long way off. If it does rain, it could be the perfect opportunity to visit our Bennington Super Center and explore over 40 boats comfortably indoors. Speaking of which…

Featured Boat: Check out our 2023 Bennington 208SLJ with SPS center tube, fully loaded for an incredible price of only $45,995! Click for full Details. These Bennington boats offer affordability and quality that you won’t want to miss.

Water Levels: Lake Winnisquam’s water levels have gone slightly down this week. On Saturday, we were 9 inches above full lake, and today we’re at 8 inches above. Meanwhile, Lake Winnipesaukee is currently 3 inches above full lake.

Gas Dock Hours & Ship Store: For your convenience, our gas docks on Lake Winnisquam and Lake Winnipesaukee are open from 8am to 5pm, seven days a week. And if you’re in need of provisions, our Winnipesaukee location’s ship store is fully stocked with a variety of items including beer, snacks, and nautical clothing.

Boat Rentals: Looking for an affordable way to enjoy the water? Our boat rentals are in full swing on both Lake Winnisquam and Lake Winnipesaukee. Starting at just $400 per day, they’re a fantastic option for a day of fun on the water. However, rentals are booking fast for Memorial Day weekend, so be sure to secure your spot by booking online or giving us a call at (603) 524-8380.

Pollen Alert: The pollen count is high, particularly tree pollen, but don’t worry—it should subside as the week progresses. If your boat is covered in pollen, we have top-notch cleaning products available at our ship stores on Lake Winnisquam and Lake Winnipesaukee. Keep your boat looking its best!

Don’t Forget: A friendly reminder that the Winni Derby will be taking place from Friday through Sunday. For full details, make sure to check their Facebook page.

That’s all for this week’s Boating & Weather Report! Stay informed, stay safe, and enjoy your time on the water. We’ll see you out there!
