And so far the weather has been great for the entire project!! Now they’re working on the final grading and paving…

11-04-17 DONE! The roof panels are done!! Now the electrician, security and the firewall contractors have moved in.

No ridge cap yet, but the guys need some light till Monday. They are working Saturdays to get the job done !!!!!
11-03-17 Ed and Glen from Ne Op Co Signs are looking over that iconic neon “Channel Marine” sign. Everybody is talking about that sign !!

And don’t worry. It’s not going anywhere (other than to the sign shop for awhile). It will be getting some slight modifications and then it will be shining above the channel every evening and inclement day. We love that sign too…

11-01-17 This is not a picture of the nor’easter!! Sunday evening, 10-29-17, we had a MAJOR windstorm in the Lakes Region. Most of the towns still have no power.

Both locations of Winnisquam Marine were shut down Monday and Tuesday. Power was restored late Tuesday evening. This storm beat any hurricane that Ed remembers, most of those fizzled out in NH. 11-01-17 After losing 3 work days because of the nor’easter Sunday evening- the construction crew gets one half of the roof completed in just two days!!!

And tomorrow Jim Hutchins Electric crew moves in to get the electric panel setup and our lighting system installed. Thanks Jim- you’ve come through as promised…
10-26-17 1000 more boats to winterize and then we’re out of here !!!! Ed and Ryan are ready to go-

10-25-17 We’ve turned the corner!! 3 sides done and about half the front. BUT- The rain is killing us. Several lost days this week!

But the crew carries on as best they can in the rain. It’s not good to be up on the roof in the windy rain !!!!
10-23-17 The last panel going up on the third side. Just the front left to side. Two days and she’ll be sided.

The sides are certainly an important part of this building, But we want the roof. Let’s get the roof on…
